Other comments: Trail island is a good little wall dive with interesting life on the wall, but not a patch on walls like stallone rock or calf Island. The Broad Islands are suitable for Trainees getting boat dive experience. If Budgy has not been here there can be a lot of scallops.

Divesite map:

Dive Report: John Nicolson 25/6/07 This was a great dive, we launched from the RNLI slip in Largs and dived in two waves. Rolled of the rib at the south of trail Island and descended to the crack along the bottom of the wall where we saw fish asleep, squat lobster and conger eels. When we got to the end of the wall we were at 15m and drifted on to the Broad islands with only 60 bar left in my 12 I had 5 mins in the shallows.
