Lat & Long:   N56.689443,   W-5.106744

Tides:        Tide tables

Depth:   25m

Site entry/exit:  Walk through the trees and down to the rocks. This dive probably needs to be timed with the tides because the rocks are steep here and covered in weed which can make getting out very difficult.I just kitted up on the edge and slid in. Apparently there are some otters around here as well.

Underwater directions:  Initially the bottom is sandy with the usual small life you get in this loch ie hermits and various swimming crabs. But at around 4-6 metres it starts to slope and begins to become a silty habitat and and the sort of life that goes with that. At 15m sea pens start to appear and by the time you get to 20m it looks like a whole field! Mainly slender and phosphorescent but there are a few tall ones dotted about a well. Growing amongst the seapens were also some beautiful eyelash worms and tube anemones. There are also a few fabulous fireworks anemones scattered around. On one occasion I found loads of cystal nudibranchs on this dive. There were also some very large scallops which had sea squirts growing on them so had obviously been around some time and some good sized langoustine

Site Hazards:    exit over steep slippery rocks
