Wreck Information :    A rich assortment of gold coins was found dating from between 1609 and 1737. It is shown that they are part of the subsistence allowance of the captain. He had 146 Specie Ducater with him, and not a single one was found after the shipwreck. But now Mr. Sténuit a Belgian marine archaeologist has found nearly a third of them.

Its a protected wreck by the local council, so it’s look but don’t touch.

Other comments:      Investigation by R Stenuit a Belgian marine archaeologist was based on the estimate that some 18 or 19 bars of silver ( weighing between about 800 and 1000lb) and between 2000 and 3000 coins from the wreck remained unaccounted for. The coins were coins from most countries in Northern and Central Europe most of the silver coins are German.
