This is the Davaar very similar design to the Chester II 

HMS CHESTER II WAS AN IRON HULLED STEAM TRAWLER BUILT IN 1896 AND OWNED BY THE CONSOLIDATED STEAM FISHING AND ICE COMPANY. LIKE MANY OTHERS SHE WAS REQUISITIONED FOR WAR SERVICE AND WAS LOST AFTER A COLLISION ON THE 29TH FEBRUARY 1916. THERE ARE NO OTHER DETAILS AS WITH A LOT OF WARTIME LOSSES, AND NO RECORDS IF ANY OF HER CREW WERE LOST. LENGTH 104 FEET, BEAM 21 FEET, DRAUGHT 11 FEET, WEIGHT 145 TONS GROSS 

Wreck Information:  THE WRECK TODAY LIES INTACT AND UPRIGHT IN GENERAL DEPTHS OF 26-28 METRES ON A SILTY SEABED IN AN EAST/WEST ORIENTATION. THE HIGHEST PART OF THE WRECK IS THE STERN WHICH STANDS 2-3 METRES ABOVE THE SEABED. THE REST OF THE WRECK IS SETTLING INTO THE SEABED, THE HOLDS ARE FULL OF SILT, AND LOTS OF FISHING NET LIE OVER THE DECK. NORMALLY LOTS OF LIFE ON THIS WRECK, BUT VERY STRONG TIDAL STREAMS IN THIS AREA, VISIBILITY CAN BE VERY BAD, SO DIVING ON A NEAP TIDE IS RECCOMENDED.

Other comments:   THE WRECK IS NOTORIOUSLY DIFFICULT TO FIND AS LIES VERY LOW TO THE SEABED, YOU DON’T GET A BIG HIT ON THE SOUNDER, WATCH

FOR STRAIGHT LINES !SHE LIES APPROX 100M SOUTH FROM NO24 PORT CHANNEL MARKER BUOY, 2MILES FROM GULLANE BAY AND 3 MILES FROM FIDRA.

I SUGGEST START AT BUOY AND HEAD SOUTH UNTIL TRANSITS LINE UP, GPS PLOTS ARE CORRECT AS OF 2004.
