Other comments:   Sunk WW1 by German U-Boat U110 which waited until the lifeboats were clear before finishing off the Castle Eden with the U-boat's deck gun.

 

Pub: Farrens bar (Irelands most northerly pub) also there are two other pubs in the area called the crossroads inn and the Sea View Tavern.
