Wreck Information :    She Displaced: 2,080 tons and her armament was 6 x 21 inch (533 mm) bow torpedo tubes, 2 x 21 inch (533 mm) stern torpedo tubes; 30 torpedoes could be carried (usually Mk8 or Mk23) or mines.
She was scuttled as an ASDIC target off the Isle of Arran on March 13, 1945

 

Harbour / slip:              RIBs can be launched from the nearby Troon yacht haven .

 

Parking directions:     Troon - in the marina      Dunure on the road down to the pier.   

                                 

Distance to harbour: From Troon its a 37 km forty minute RIB ride to the wreck. From Dunure which has a public slip, its a 24 km, 25 minute RIB ride to the wreck.  Tide Tables
