Summary
A compass is a navigational instrument for finding directions under water.. It consists of a magnetized pointer free to align itself accurately with Earth's magnetic field. The dial shows north, south, east and west which are the cardinal points. It is important to keep it level when using it as the needle can lock if its tilted to far.
