Wreck Information: The Europa was Built in Jarrow in 1862 its 424nt and 63m x 8m x 5m The Europa sank three quarters a mile northeast of Cloch Point in 1884 after a head on collision with another steamer just off McInroys Point Gourock. The hull of the Europa is pretty much intact although the superstructure is gone.
Harbour / slip: RIBs can be launched from the nearby marina at Inverkip. You can also hire a mooring to save on launching and retrieving your boat every day. Contact Tel. 01475 521 485 or look them up on the web at the Inverkip marina.
