Wreck Information: The Fairweather V ran aground in 1992 at the west end of Annat Bay .The wreck now sits upright on a sloping sandy bottom, Its intact and covered in anemones. This is a great fun wreck to dive and is probably the best known wreck in this area.

Dive reports : Peter M Importantly for beginners this wreck is easily dived if a shot line is in place. We did the deck and Jennifer didn't get below 20m of her 21 allowed. It is probably possible to do on an 18m limit, IE PADI OW. Given the depth we were at she wasn't in 30m of actual water the day we did it and as tide is normally above mean sea level I think 30m is a bit deep for the bottom too. I will try and check the time. The wreck is on video on the attached link. I will try and take some stills off it, bit the quality will be poorer than normal stills.
