Dive Report: Themacallan 24/1/09 The wreck is just as the description in Bobs book, I cannot wait to go back. Still have the stern section to fully check out.. .......the fo'c's'le to enter ...........and engine room hatches to explore .....we quite simply did not have time to check out.
Dive Report: Gordon mackie 7/4/09 lying on its side, so the top of the wreck will be about 40 or 42 and the bottom about 50..I was surprised as my depth passed 30 with no wreck...then 40..and then I hit the brakes as I came across a flasher in the kicked up mud at about 45..found a line and followed it to the bottom and up to the wreck..saw a torch and thought it was my buddy..but it was 2 blokes on yellow boxes.. had a wander about and canned it when I was on 55mins to the surface even using 80%... My buddy had been under an overhang and we swam past each other...had better.
