Wreck Information:  From the boilers back it is intact but the decks have collapsed, it is 48m inside the wreck with the very impressive stern gun standing well proud at around 42m.

Distance from harbour:   Peterhead 3 Miles  Fraseburgh 13 Miles

Lat & Long:   57 33 00N, 001 46 00W 2 miles north of Peterhead, about 1 mile off shore

Other comments: The Muriel was torpedoed by submarine and sank in 12 minutes. It was found in September 1999 by Buchan Divers.
