Wreck Information: The trygon was hired by the Admiralty in 1914 and converted for minesweeping service, and numbered No. 978. She sank, following collision on 30 March 1915.
Harbour / slip: RIBs can be launched from the nearby Troon yacht haven .
Parking directions:
Distance from harbour: From Troon its a 13.4 km 35 minute RIB ride to the wreck. From Dunure which has a public slip, its a 12 km, 30 minute RIB ride to the wreck.

Other comments: It sits upright with a seabed depth of just less then 55m. Nice little wreck you could get around in one dive. On our return in 03 most of the superstructuer had collapsed but the hull was OK. It was dark but we always had at least 3 or 4 m viz.
