Travel directions: Leaving Glasgow on the A82 turn left at Tarbet onto the A83, through Arrochar and over the rest and be thankful and turn right at Inveraray and turn left onto the A85 to Oban and south on the A816 turn right onto the B8003 and over the Clachan Bridge onto seal island to the end of the road at Easdale. 

Parking directions: In the large car park beside the Village (takes 50 cars)

Tides: Tide tables

Depth: 40-60m straight down.

Site entry/exit: Its a 200m walk from the car park to the quarry so its a good Idea to drop off the dive kit at the end of the pier and park the car.  Entry/Exit is from only one place at the end of the pier so care must be taken to get back to the entry point.

Underwater directions: Its a rectangular sea quarry with ledges are varying depths to 60m approx and there can be haloclines at different depths which makes a spooky dive. There is an opening to the sea that was used to let boats in and out. Don't go out here as currents can be strong and sweep you away from the exit. There are caves and overhangs in here and you will find it an interesting dive.

Other comments: Good buoyancy is needed here it drops straight down to 60m. You can also dive Easdale cliff close to here.
